About

A calmer way to decide.

YoungYou is an editorial guide and a vetted directory for aesthetics, longevity, and weight-loss care. We help people make considered decisions about their faces, their hormones, and their health — and then connect them to real providers who can help.

Why we exist

The market for looking younger and feeling stronger runs on urgency and hype. Injectables get sold like retail; hormones and peptides get sold like miracles; weight-loss drugs get sold like magic. The information a normal person needs to decide well — what a treatment actually does, what it costs, who’s qualified to do it, and when the honest answer is “you don’t need this” — is scattered, conflicted, or paid for.

YoungYou is our attempt at the opposite: unhurried, specific, and willing to talk you out of things. We write treatment guides that explain the trade-offs, we vet the providers we list, and we route consultation requests to practices we’d be comfortable sending a friend to.

What we actually do

  • Editorial guides. Plain-language, conservative overviews of treatments across aesthetics, longevity, and medical weight loss — including the downsides, alternatives, and the cases where the right move is to do nothing.
  • A vetted directory.Real providers in the cities we serve, each carrying a verification tier that says exactly how far we’ve checked their credentials.
  • Consultation routing. When you’re ready, you can request a consultation through the site and we forward it to a matching provider. Providers may pay us for that — never you.

What we are not: a clinic, a telehealth service, or anyone’s doctor. We don’t diagnose, prescribe, or treat. Everything here is editorial and informational — see the standing note at the bottom of every article.

Why the East Bay, first

We started where we could do the work by hand: the East Bay suburbs of the San Francisco Bay Area — Walnut Creek, Pleasanton, Dublin, Danville, San Ramon, Livermore, and Fremont. Covering a real, bounded market well matters more to us than claiming a national footprint we can’t stand behind. If a city isn’t in our directory, we don’t serve it yet, and we won’t pretend otherwise.

How we make money

Providers pay us; consumers never do. Revenue comes from per-lead fees, listing fees, and clearly labeled sponsored placements. Crucially, none of that is for sale as trust — a provider cannot pay to raise their verification tier or to change what an editorial guide says. The full accounting is on our disclosures page.

Who writes this

Guides and articles are researched and written in-house and published under a collective byline, The YoungYou Editors. We don’t invent expert personas, fabricate interviews, or attach quotes to people who never said them. When a piece has been reviewed by a named, licensed professional, we say so and name them. When it hasn’t, we don’t imply it has. How we hold that line is spelled out in our editorial standards.

Where we are

YoungYou is early. The directory is live, the guides are growing, and we’re onboarding providers one conversation at a time. We’d rather tell you that plainly than dress up a young company as a finished one.
